Es una banda de rock que nació de la iniciativa de Billy Howerdel, un técnico de guitarras de bandas como Nine Inch Nails, Fishbone The Smashing Pumpkins y Tool . Un día Billy decidió enseñarle sus demos a Maynard. Al apreciar la calidad de esas demos, Maynard enseguida se ofreció para ser cantante de ese proyecto mientras el resto  de Tool arreglaban unos problemas con el sello discográfico; lo que Howerdel aceptó, a pesar de que inicialmente buscaba una cantante femenina para la banda.

Completaron la formación Paz Lenchantin (bajista/violinista), Troy Van Leeuwen (guitarrista, ex-miembro de Failure) y Tim Alexander (batería, Primus). Este grupo ya lleva 6 años inactivos vuelve a dar una gira 

It is a rock band born from the initiative of Billy Howerdel, a guitar tech for bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Fishbone The Smashing Pumpkins and Tool. One day Billy decided to show demos to Maynard. In assessing the quality of these demos, Maynard soon be volunteered to be a singer of this project while the rest of Tool fix some problems with the record label, what Howerdel accepted, despite initially looking for a female singer band. 


Paz Lenchantin completed training (bass / violin), Troy Van Leeuwen (guitar, former member of Failure) and Tim Alexander (drums, Primus). This group already has 6 years inactive to tour again

É uma banda de rock nasceu da iniciativa de Billy Howerdel, um técnico de guitarrapara bandas como Nine Inch Nails, Fishbone e ferramenta de The Smashing Pumpkins. Um dia, Billy decidiu mostrar demos para Maynard. Na avaliação daqualidade desses demos, Maynard rapidamente se ofereceu para ser um cantor doprojeto, enquanto o resto da ferramenta de correção de alguns problemas com agravadora, o que Howerdel aceite, apesar de inicialmente à procura de um vocalistapara a banda.
